About me
I am a confident and versatile trained dancer in a range of techniques, from contemporary and ballet to gymnastics and sports acrobatics!I also take a keen interest in dance education and have broad teaching experience, and am a keen choreographer creating work for both professional dancers and for children as part of workshops and youth dance projects.
I am the choreographer of 'Sarah Rogers and Company,' and have created a number of dance pieces for public performance, my latest piece, 'Bowline', was shown as part of Resolution!2011 at The Robin Howard Dance Theatre.

I worked with the choreographer Rosemary Butcher to recreate her original work Scan. The creation period involved large amounts of contact improvisation techniques.

I taught dance and gymnastics lessons in primary schools, including both curriculum P.E lessons and after school/breakfast clubs.

I have done some TFP work for a photograher called Jason Harry (www.jasonharry.com)on a project with dancers and models in July 2007, called "your style"
I have also done TFP dance shots with a number of choreographers, for which I have danced for during my dance degree at Laban, and in my free time, to be used in their choreography portfolios or to be projected during a live performance of dance. The 'chair' pictures in my portfolio are an example of this. Other dance pictures have been used for theatre show programmes or promotional posters. -

Theatre Studies A Level 'B' grade.
experience:
passion for acting since I was young, been involved in a number of amateur and college productions as part of my theatre A level, also a member of local youth theatre comapany.
Also have experience in physical theare, and dance on camera, as it is incorporated into my Dance Theatre Degree course at LABAN,Creekside.
